Blackberry Security Vulnerability Fix
Rim has released a security patch for the Blackberry line of phones related to the way the phones handle pdf files. The fix can be found here.
An attacker could attach a specially crafted PDF file to an email message, targeting a flaw in the handset’s PDF distiller component to create a software crash and possibly allow the remote execution of code.
While there are no reported attacks at this time, it is recommended all Blackberry smartphone users apply the patch or workaround.
